A key element in achieving this goal is the establishment of efficient and effective procedures for filing and retrieving information. Organization with inconsistent or nonexistent files management programs may not find crucial information when they need it, waste time and money, and may even encounter legal problems because of their inability to produce documentation of actions taken.
The rise of Information Technology in reality has also transformed conventional filing into a new dimension. Documents are transformed from physical into digital forms, new hi-tech storage require new data handling procedures which can cause new problems if filing function is not prepared to cope with such condition. This two days course will also guide participants to perform enhanced and digital filing management by understanding the nature of their organization and digital environment.
